These shafts would make great trail spares. Can be upgraded to the 760x U-joint. I have 2 more sets as extra's that are upgraded to 760x and have welded caps and I just changed the front out to Longfields so I doubt I'll ever need this set. I posted these local but no one was interested:dunno:

This set of shafts have not been up-graded yet. Knuckles not included

$50- you pay the shipping or local pick-up.

I was under the impression that 297/760 joints were the same, that 297 was just the old spicer number for that size u-joint. Just curious, since the joints are the same size what sort of upgrade is it to go with 760x?

Either way, please let me know what it'd be with shipping to 28692

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the 760x is stronger than the 297x but is the same size otherwise. It has something to do with the material its made from.

I will get a shipping quote sometime this week.

Searched it myself, 760s are cold forged at the cross as opposed to the 297s hot forging, supposed to be considerably stronger.

Definitely as you said, same size but stronger material. I'll have to get a set in my 30...
