Which head? I've been waiting for someone to give me flow specs on the HESCO/Patriot head (I know it's highly variable - but it would give me a starting baseline. I'm sure they can machine ports to spec without too much trouble...)

The 2 standouts look like

stock valve 1.91"/1.50" -- Dr. Js Performance ported iron

Big valve 2.02"/1.60" -- Clearwater Cylinder heads ported iron (only questionable reputation)

HESCO looks like decent intake and fair exhaust flows.

How do I know if I have the better flowing 7120/0630 Jeep Iron or the worse flowing John Brown Iron?

Installing 505 Performance Race Head today. Can't wait to see how it works.
Description--Brand new heavy casting fully ported cylinder head 2.00 intake and 1.570 exhaust valves, Chrome moly spring retainer keepers, Raised exhaust runners and profiled intake runners flowing over 300 at .500 lift on intake side and 180 plus exhaust.

Looks like they gave a monkey a die grinder. I wouldn't doubt if it flows worse than stock.

Heh. A "whiz wheel?" I'm assuming you mean something like a Scotch-Brite or a Cratex wheel?

(A "whizwheel," to me, is a mechanical calculator - like in the middle of an E-6B "flight computer... )

Yeah, commonly called a whiz wheel in shops. Known to damage the surface being cleaned. I hate those things.
