I'd like to know too. I have a '92 and I spent some time under the dash last night.....I didn't have any luck. There are a hundred wires under there....and I didn't see a single yellow box. Although I think those are on the older models.

Not having cruise has been very frustrating to diagnose.

I have an '87 4.0 and I'm pretty sure my cruise module is an orange box under the dash. I have seen on newer XJ's at the junkyard a yellow box with an AMC label. Same as mine, only yellow.

I have a 92 that I got for my deer lease.....it came with cruise control but did not work.....found that the vaccum line had a crack going to the vaccum bottle. Once I fixed that the cruise worked fine. Hope that helps.
