Cruise advice?

We are wanting to go on a cruise for our honeymoon in august this year.

Want to go someplace warm.

Want it to be as cheap as possible, obviously.

Tell me your experiences, ideas, suggestions, and advice.

What company did you go on? Which boat?

We are 23 and 22 with a kid, so not looking for MTV spring beakesque activities if that makes a difference

Most importantly did you "sneak" your own alcohol on? If so, how?

thanks

I would think a cruse would be a PITA with the baby...

find a beach house so you can just sit out there and drink some cold ones while you watch your kid play in the sand, and not have to worry about people. if your anything like me, I don't like big groups of people around while im trying to relax. we were looking at places in norther MI for this years vaca. but since your from up there you will probably want to go somewhere else lol. my wife was looking at beach houses in north Carolina that were pretty reasonable priced i will ask her when i get home what those were.

one of my favorite vacations was when we went camping at silver lake not cause of the wheeling but because of the sitting with my feet up with no one around to piss me off.

and seeing this...

^^truth
maybe your into cruises or maybe not, but i know i don't really want to be out there stuck on a boat. like rew said your from the area so you may want to go somewhere else but i spent my honeymoon in elk rapids and it was amazing.
this pic is looking at one of the many lakes surrounding the area. i could see maybe 400 feet or more of beach front and we were the only two out there.

I've been on 2 Alaska cruises with my family. Yeah, they are neat but not worth all of the hipe. I missed a wheeling trip for one and in all honesty I'd have rather been sitting around a campfire in CO than off the coast of Canada in a tuxedo.

If you do go on a cruise, find a way to leave the at home.

My wife and I had our honeymoon in Steamboat, CO and then went to Yellowstone. We hate the beach.

the kid isn't going!!!! No way, that was just to say what we enjoy. lol

Everybody is saying no cruise lol.

I was eyeballing an all inclusive resort in cancun.

But im not sure about staying in another country.

Dan, im marrying a FEMALE not you lol

Dan is a female, he had an operation four years ago called an "adadicktame".
I hear it is a popular procedure for cross dressers to have now a days.

Cruises are CHEAP right now!
Go on Expedia and look at them.
Lar found a 14 day Caribbean cruise for $1200 per person.

I really like Carnival Cruise Lines, instead of Royal Caribbean Cruises. I also enjoyed Aruba and the Jeep safari... Of course you can also rent, Harleys, and quads to drive on the street there too!

i was swinging towards carnival

i went on a carnival with my dad and his ex wife and my sister when i was 16ish, and it was kool. But seem more geared towards kids and 21+.

just look at ones that give you a lot of shore time...cruises seem fun, but i would have way more fun at port.

a buddy of mine works on princess cruises and can get friends and family on for $40 a day, just have never been able to get a hold of him when i need to

We went on one in highschool, Carnival, 4 day, stopped in Cozumel Mexico.

I unintentionally met my Fiance on that trip, she was a friend of a friend that was there...

We plan on going on one for our honeymoon, only 7day and it stops in Cozumel, bahamas, and somewhere else...

Yeh, you're stuck on the boat, but Carnival does seem to gear more towards the 21+ group... I was looking at a suite that had a balconey for like $700 per person I think... If you put a deposit on it...

Just my $0.02
