Critique new shackle angle please

Just like the title says, let me know what you think. Picture taken at right height, minus rear bumper with spare tire and two jerry cans. BTW stock XJ shackle. Should I switch to MJ or longer type shackle? Hasta

yes on longer shackle, and with the added weight it should be close to 45*

maybe that would be a good thing since i'm gonna add some wieght with a 35" spare ,2 jerry cans and a highlift!!!

Loner for more flex, and yes weight will change it for the better.it's best to set the angle with weight in rig that you carry all the time.

Throw the equivelent weight of all the listed items that you plan on carrying into the back of your rig (40lb bags of water softener salt pellets work good for dialing in stuff like this) and then re-check your shackle angle before you do any more mods.

This will give you both- static loaded ride height and shackle angle.
