:spin1:So engineers: I'm thinking about buying a long arm lift kit (probably full traction) and building a rear four link based on the front long arm dimensions. I'm trying to use the same shocks and arms/links for each of the four corners. Is this an awesome idea or a terrible idea? It can't be somewhere in the middle.

^^^ What he said. Avoid a track bar in the rear if at all possible, and ditch the idea of rear coils and shocks if you want to go fast. Think coilovers and triangulated 4 link. Look up Dan Turner's (LooseNutsEnterprises is his screen name I believe) build thread for some incredible inspiration. Also check out IBeamedJeeper's rear setup, he has a build thread here as well.

assuming you already had claytons radius arms... is this really a "lot" of money for what your getting?

i was under the impression that it wasnt a horribly rediculous price. and if you were planning on doing coilovers im sure you could talk to them and get a discounted price if you just wanted the truss, arms, and belly pan... then itd just be a matter of brackets on 2 control arm mounts on the axle and designing your coilovers right? it could be done cheaper if home brewed im sure, but sometimes paying for the convenience of hours of measuring seems worth it...

thoughts?
