Craigslist Warning 1995 Emerald XJ 4x4 SFV

Just went and looked at this truck.

Couple of things they do not mention.

1. it has 171.00 of DMV fees attached
2. it has been repainted and all the rust on the bottom is hidden under it. My screwdriver poked right thought the floor board.
3. head liner is wreaked
4. leaks oil and is hard to start.
5. the title is stamped with a car donation stamp, I am not sure how the person is selling it.
6. both doors have cracked welds.
7. has not been smogged.

I offered 2k they would take that but I waked away when I discovered the above issues.

I hate working on vans and I hate working on front wheel drive. Odds are a minivan hits both counts.

I wish I would have known you were on the hunt for one for your wife. There was a beautiful Briarwood on C/L down here a month or so ago. One owner, garaged. Pics looked clean as a whistle. It needed to go to someone who would not turn it into a trail rig. I had to stay away from it.
