I've been without a vehicle today, so I haven't had the chance to get a compression test gauge yet. So, I've been reading and reading and reading posts about "no start" problems. I came across doing a WOT test. Before this I checked my plugs to make sure they weren't fouled, which they weren't. I then held down the throttle for a couple of seconds, and the jeep fires right up. I let it run for a bit to warm up, and then turned it off. The next couple of starts had to crank a bit, but it would fire.
Any ideas what may have caused this? Are there other sensors I need to inspect? Just a reminder, the only thing I've changed is the ckp and cap and rotor.
