could it be this easy? evap control leak (pic)

I actually took the time to look at my evap control valve/sensor and found a probable cause of my check engine light staying on. Here is the pic...

Could this one little hose be causing the problem? As you can tell it is dry rotted. I followed the line to the fuel tank and that is the only problem area I notice. Does anyone know the name for this hose so I can pick one up from autozone?

if its just a regular hose, can u just replace the section? ive got a bunch of pieces at the house, that kinda stuff is real cheap. I cant really see where its goin to..but if its just a vacuum line it should be easy to fix.
 
Yep. Its just a vaccuum line. I need to get to the store and buy one. I'll prob do that tomorrow and see what happens.
 
less then 5 bux and you should be good to go. disconnect battery afterwords to clear the code, then see if it comes back.
