cool bike

Saw this up in Boulder yesterday as we were walking around town. I guess this is the 1100S version with the super nice suspension. The owner came out when I was drooling on it and complicated matters by starting it up. One word: WOW. :smoker:

I like those pedel motor bikes. pedel them to get them going then putt putt putt along. Ya more my speed. low and slow.

I don't know why but I fell out of loving sport bikes and well pretty much all road motor cycles for some reason.

I'd love to have another bike but aside from the storage space concerns, I just don't think it's worth the risk anymore. I was an aprilia guy, never a duc guy. Guess my current weight doesn't help either, I'd have a hard time folding up on a sportbike anymore.

Thats kind of had something to do with it. Too many whacko’s out there that just don’t pay attention. I’ve been on both ends of the I didn’t see them or was almost hit game. I looked twice to merge over into a lane and never saw the guy on the bike, and almost took him out. Guy behind me 4x4 guy with cb told me he came out of nowhere on him as well and that he almost hit him. Right out of high school I was heading up to Estes park with a bunch of guys, and all of almost got wiped out buy some stupid chick on her cell phone. I had more fun on dirt bikes than street bikes. I always felt like I had to be much more observant of other drivers than if I was in a car or something. I like goofing around on them but at what price sometimes. Just sounds like your reading more and more about bikers being hit and killed now days. Be it more people in CO or I’m older and paying more attention to that kind of thing. I like keeping 4 wheels on the ground. Or one on a rock or something well you know what I mean.

i bought a yamaha R6 in begining of 07 and i have had some close calls from then till now. i live in ohio and people do not pay attention, not to mention getting harrassed by cops because im young and have a sport bike is getting old... im trying to sell it now but nobody wants to pay what im asking.
