Anybody planning on leaving Chicago area Friday afternoon/evening?
Never (yes, I did say never) been to the Badlands, so hoping to drive along with someone who has...

I'm over here on the north-side of the big city but willing to meet up with some of ya 'burban boys somewhere along the route...

Plan to sleep in the "GEEP" friday night, play Sat then come back Sat afternoon...

Anyone game?

gil for all the times i see your jeep at exit...well anyways i'm leaving melrose park some time friday afternoon, probably early afternoon though. i wont be driving my jeep either...i have a nice 92 ford escort this year. the drive isnt bad at all. only advise i can give is dont mess with friday traffic trying to get across the indiana border. either last year or year before i sat on 294 for at least a good 1 1/2. either leave early or late.

cheers,

jj

why woulda want to convoy with the burbie boys?

yuck.

my advice, take 394 south!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll NEVER take the borman to us 41 ever again!!!!!!

394 *is* the way to go.

keep going past us 30 also! take it all the way down to 2.

Hey Beez, where does 2 cut across 394?

yeah it does and you miss all the bs traffic and lights on 41 by going this way.

cheers,

jj

I am leaving Saint Charles before noon. (Born and raised on the North Side of Chi-town) I need to get some mud flying early. Looking forward to a good time. Everyone have a good trip. (Convoy back Sunday am?)

Yup lookin like I'll take 394 to 2 and then across to 41....

Depending on traffic I'll either scoot around O'hare to 294 then down or straight down the Ryan....

Any of you guys gonna have your cb's on? What channel?

Hope everyone has a safe ride...

Nice to see the "windy city" has some 'froaders. I hear the badlands are alot different that what we have over here in N.C.
I've been watching the forum on you guys maybe starting a chapter, don't have much experience on starting one up, but the Southeast group is great. It's helped me alot with entering the off-road experience. Now, if I can only find an MJ...... Any around there?
Safe Trip
