Well I finally got the old Comanche back on 4 wheels and off jack stands.....

Finally got around to finishing up the tube doors yesterday. The latches are just factory XJ I robbed off one of my brothers junkers, the black handles are from an unknown source but found them lying on my brothers work bench..... Not sure I'm digging the small inside bars so I'll probably end up cutting them out and doing something different.

I'd make some kind of cover to go over that exposed latch bolt so you or a passenger don't hurt yourself on the trail... Besides that note, the doors look really good man!

Thanks man.... I at least gotta take a cutting wheel and take off the extra threads.... never thought about making a cover for it..... appreciate the input.

cut them down, then use an acorn nut.

Will look good, be safe and keep the threads from getting nasty in the future.

how did you go about doing your 4.0 HO conversion? ive got an 88 with the renix system on it im looking into doing it on but idk what all id need to do it
