so i work at a car lot here in the springs...
our paydays are the 5th and 20th.
i get paid the same every check.
our business does NOT offer direct Deposit
our check are hand written by the owner....
the owner is out of town for personal time, he knew he would be gone months in advance. but due to the lack of him being in town, i dont get paid til he gets back.
am i just SOL in this situation, or is there something stating they need to pay up if its payday? (fwiw i have searched google for colorado DOL forums and rules cant find right question/answer)
we have no HR dept, no employee handbook, nothing....thanks
