Colorado Horneytoad

I thought that I would share my findings. A horneytoad. I haven't seen one here in colorado for over 15 years. We were south of Canon City in the hills when I found him sunning in the road. I had to swerve to miss him then back up to to show the kids.

I used to catch those all the time when I was a kid here in COS.

I picked up a salamander(I know, not the same thing) recently and it went pee on me.
I think I scared it.

I was just wondering if this sucker did too.

But here's what I'd really like to know:

The fluctuating(sp?) tempature of the air inside it from hot (during driving) to cold (as it sits and cools down over night) Hell IDK!
