Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Well..... It's happened again. I've lost another friend and coworker to a careless driver.

Sgt. Sean Renfro was struck and killed today by an out of control car while he was helping a State Trooper at an accident scene. Sean was off duty with a friend driving home up HWY 285 near Conifer when he came upon the multi car accident with a Trooper on scene. He and his friend got out to assist and we're standing by the troopers car talking to him when a car, on the other side of the highway came sliding across into the accident scene, smashing into the Troopers car and killing Sean. The Trooper and Sean's friend were injured and sent to the hospital.

Sean and I worked the same shift together, he was the Mountain districts supervisor and we were going to be working together again this year. He buried his father earlier this year, died of brain cancer. He leaves behind a wife and two adopted children.

January 26th last year Sgt. Dave Baldwin was killed by a careless driver on Hwy 93 ...... gonna be a tough month.....

Be safe out on the roads guys..... and hug your family often.

Yeah he may have been. He was a car guy but more of a motorcycle guy.....he had 1 or 2 Ducatti's.

Saw it on the news last night, Troy, and have been thinking of you. That last piece of advice is a good one for everyone.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Troy, sorry about your friend. I was at DMV in Jeffco yesterday and saw they were collecting donations for his family. Just when you think most dmv's bring the suck, they do something thoughtful and totally redeem themselves.

Stay safe out there!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Pretty good day.

Went to a holiday party/lunch that one of my wife's clients was having at the Sunbird this afternoon. Had some decent prime rib and mashed potatoes. After we ate they had a raffle and I ended up winning a Dewalt 20v, 3/8", cordless drill as well as a Dewalt 18v, 1/2", hammer drill. I then traded the 18v for a Milwaukee sawzall. :D

You need to have a worthwhile camera for the lighting to matter.........

Loving the hell out of my new position. Vegas for a few days as of monday. Then heavy on the grind for about a month to take advantage of the extra work and stack some more monies. Aye. Never ends.
