Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Your logic is wrong. It's only right when I use it as my own logic.
More miles backwards that you have forward. Man I'm so tired of hearing that. Rollin down the road in a t/t is like trolling on naxja, any moron can do it without much an issue.
Remember. It's a joke not a dick, you don't need to take it so hard.

Yeah I thought I'd throw that one in there for good trolling measure since I've heard it as many times as Swift and Werner acronyms , But how is it you have the practical knowledge in kowing how to take a joke vs taking a male appendage ...lol...must be a "team driver".

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Is it trendy to "pretend" to follow good trail manners and etiquette I state this B/C today in the stock 99 TJ and last Memorial day in the XJ I was joy riding through Slaughterhouse and ran into fairly large groups of Jeeps headed out as I was headed in , which the only sensible option in those locations was to pull up hillside to let them pass , and both today and memorial day I got some of meanest mugs I've even seen along with head shaking ,which I assume for pulling off the trail , which I could see if I was blazing through wetlands or crushing a path through aspens ,but simply pulling uphill is not the crime stay the trail is supoosed to discourage , Which brings me to the pretending/trendy part ...lol...I was headed uphill everytime and ever since the first timeI hit a 4x4 trail I was taught uphill has right of way , so it seems these folks love to be trendy as a group of "elite" wheelers , but lack most common knowledge of trail etiquette ...lol...I'm pretty sure most of these groups are lost without being able to call AAA .

Trying to weld with snow comming down on your project makes for many curse words as you try to maintain a shock free work piece .

And I was driving my buddy's new Ram, with the V6 diesel (sweet engine...drool), in the rain, trying to use my camera, with him riding shotgun.

If I had bought a 1500 instead of the 2500, I wanted to get one with that engine. Gets 30mpg and can still tow 9500 lbs.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I should have specified 1500, DJ, it's the "V". No lag, gobs of torque, eight speed tranny.

Sad thing is he got crushed by the hail a few weeks ago. Only the passenger door survived unscathed. Every other body panel, both taillights, both mirrors, windshield all damaged. I told him if I hit that compressor at speed, they'd total his rig at that point.

Ohhh, the EcoDiesel thing, curious to ride in one. I forgot all about them.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Has anyone purchased a car from a police impound auction? Seems to have an interesting mix of cars/bikes that you could buy cheap, or could be hit with fees and fees to not make it worth it.

Issues with a gang banger recognizing his whip and car jacking you for it, or having a brick of weed hidden inside?

Couple of mid '00s BMWs in the 3 and 7 series variety, a '66 Mustang, and a couple Cherokees.

If you could buy a 2000 XJ for a grand and flip it for two or three? Or keep it and have a cheap Jeep?

Sam (zluster) has some experience with this...and experience with finding things in the vehicle

Seemed to work for him (but things could have changed since then).

Oh, and you missed the "parts only, no title" on the '00 XJ.

I've always wanted to go. Do you have to tow it off the lot?

Some come with keys others don't
You can drive them off if your able to other wise
You have a time they have to be out by.

Go on rainy and snowy days there will be less people
