Used the vacum too hard today

Super corroded power/ground cables. Cleaned up with new terminals and dielectric grease. Starts way better. No need to replace the fuel pump anymore as it was a connection issue. Lol also had the upper radiator hose start pissing. Good thing these things happend in town/easy fixes. Almost like driving this more than my fj...almost

You suck, that's a nice looking WR
I stole it too. guy couldn't get it to kick over easy, didn't know why. I was looking and saw the compression release cable was frayed and not doing its job. Low balled him, turned the valve by hand, kicked first try. LOL He wasn't happy. New top end and fresh built forks.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ya tip is gonna hook me up with a horn set up and mirror. Just gotta grab some DOT tires for it and I should be good to go. Figure being able to kick around on it on the streets will make it easier for me to gain some confidence with it for the dirt. Much wiser choice than the 675R I was looking at :gee:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Is it a 250 or 450? LMK if you decide you want to sell it, its very much along the lines of what I want to get to learn trail riding with.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Well when you tire of the lack of power and decide to get a 450 or bigger just let me know. At least give me until the end of June though, so I can save up the extra scrilla. :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

HAHAHA ya I dunno. its a torque lil sucker. Plus I have to get the lady a lil crf150 or ttr125 before I can get into a newer bike. Ill let ya know for sure if I am going to part with it eventually lol.

So it died at the car wash? I had low amp draw about a year ago, and swapping the terminals fixed it, so I never bothered checking out the wires themselves...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ya. Lol/ at the car wash just down the street from my house. Better than on the trail.
Gotta pay to play

Yes on the wheels.... Nasty colour that.

Yes on the "mud flaps? What were they thinking...

The tow location bothers me not at all unless it is not structural, then, bleh.

I know, from living with one, that Subaru makes a fine car. They make investments that Jeep just refuses to do. Such as the number of fasteners that hold the interior together. Go ahead, pull 6 screws on a Subi binnacle and see if it comes off. Not a chance... You have at least another half dozen to pull.

But then, the interiors do not rattle either...

I can attest to the fasteners, @#$%!%!%!!!

I have one under stomper... I think you may be missing a digit on your ad, Ken. ;)

I dunno what one you are talking about, but this one is one I listed on a facebook parts trading group you probably aren't in.

And yes it was pretty cruel but there are 5000 really retarded people in the group and watching them be stupid wasn't enough for me, I had to kick the hornets nest.

Occasionally another one STILL comes along and thinks it's serious... even though I spilled the beans around midnight and half a dozen people guessed what was up within an hour of listing it.

And yeah, the axle I specced is worth 1100-1200 even here, in the land of cheap d60s.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Well I get truck back from body shop tomorrow. Super stoked about that.

Called geico to set up a shop/dealership to get truck rear axle checked out (I hit throttle when I got hit, tires in air, then landed and stopped the truck) for any damage to the gears or shafts, whatever.

Geico adjuster on the case straight told me good luck let us know how that works out for you. They don't see any damage on OUTSIDE of axle so they won't cover looking for any damage on the INSIDE. Seriously. **** geico. I set up my own appointment. And then will send them a bill. So over dealing with them.
