Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Your stupid new gym stole one of the best coaches we had from CityRock in COS!

Yeah, putting in the eighth biggest climbing gym in the country will have that effect. I'm sure the gyms in Denver are feeling it too. I go there because it's the closest to my house.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I was being a little facetious with that. :looney: There was more to that coach leaving than just big fancy new gym that I won't get into here.

In either case it sounds like an impressive place. I'm curious to see how it pans out long-term. I'd like to see it as a "climber's" gym rather than a place for birthday parties. I think they have the staff and desire to make that happen.

You climb outdoors much?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Could be right about the 5.9/5.10. It was many years/beers ago. :)

The Colorado BS thread

I was considering a Tacoma, but the 05+ body style I think is hideous. and older styles don't have the room in them at all. the frontiers are rad and affordable

I like the look of the second gen Tacoma but I do prefer the second gen frontier over it. They're both very similar trucks with very similar specs. The reason I would possibly take the Yota over the Datsun is because the Yota has a lot more aftermarket support. Gearing options, locker options, bumper options, etc. there is more out there for the Toyota.

Look at the Suzuki Equator truck too though. It's a rebadged frontier. Might save you a few pennies. I'm thinking it would be cool to use the Suzuki Equator to support and tow around a Suzuki Samurai. :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

The aftermarket is definitely superior for Toys, but I did learn last night in my reading and lurking on Titan forums that ARB is now offering a locker for the Titan IFS front end... which is nice!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Ya there are companies like camburg racing that are less known but make stellar parts. I like the frontys but will likely go the xterra route vs a small pickup.

I really like the Xterra too, but there is no reason to ditch my JK for another SUV. If it does get ditched (highly unlikely really) it'll be for a small truck.

I would consider it a climbers gym, there are always lots of people in there lead climbing. And they have a separate space for kids parties.

I have climbed outdoors some, but not much this last year. Hope to do more this next year.

Ya definitely. I'm hoping I can score an 08-09 pro4/offroad xterra. Gonna have my girls dad start looking for me the next month or so while I'm gone for work. Then it will just sit some more while I'm gonna agin after that. Lol.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

No sir. One I hate the styling. And two it feels too wide for me. Hear they do well. But no dice. 08-09 X's can be had for less than 20

Re: The Colorado BS thread

the FJ's ride and drive really nice, but the little windows makes visibility bring the suck.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I miss my DD taco, traded it for a Subi for the fuel mileage. :banghead:
