Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Happy Halloween F-ers!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Blanco decided he wanted some chicken stock:

Just a little 85 lb dog. Imagine what an 850 lb grizzly could do. :)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

what do you guys think of building a MJ into a pipeline welding rig capable of going anywere. I need something small 4wheel drive

Re: The Colorado BS thread

How heavy is the welder and stuff you have to put on the back? I'd be concerned about the flimsy bed.

What about a V8 Dakota? Do an SAS up front.... Not much else to modify.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Went and did some shooting Saturday with several of the guys that my wife works with. Lots of guns..... did some skeet/trap shooting first, then had set up this XJ hood with boxes and a dot to shoot at. The intention was for folks to see how well they could shoot with all the different guns........ well, that idea went out the window and everyone just blasted away at that poor little hood........ We shot at it with bird shot, .223, 7.56, 9mm, .32, .38, .40, and 300 win/mag...... Should ventilate heat rather nicely now......

I'm on the fence about it. That's why I left it here to discuss. To me it would seem that they put off road suspension on it also. Granted it doesn't take tight turns well but I think it could be fun.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Lolololz.
The suspension on that bike is developed and set up quite well. Granted he isn't hucking it off jumps I think it would take it quite well. I dropped my stunt bike on its side, looped it, flipped stoppies, all kinds of stuff and never had issues. And that was a basic old school Honda f4i.
It's rad to see a machine getting used for something other than looking pretty on a parking lot or a track.
And weight, while heavier is a lot lower than on dirt bikes. I'd imagine it would be quite a bit easy to toss it in some turns. Especially if he tuned it for his weight.
