Re: The Colorado BS thread

looks like I am keeping the WJ for good. Found a few parts online and should be here in a week. Now just need to decide on what and how I want to lift it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

At least he had the decency to highlight his "workmanship" for the pictures...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I don't see the problem, looks just like the stuff we used to run out in Iowa. :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So I was laid off from a job this time last year, and now they just decided they need another person again. Just applied. Wonder how stupid they are going to feel when they see my resume in the pile.

Never have had a facebook! latley have been really tempted but then I remember I dont like that kind of thing and would rather only blog and talk to old weird jeep guys and not mix them up with all of the ladies.

Ya I dunno why I havent done it earlier. Went to the shop and didnt have to deal with my phone blowing up, or being distracted. Just got to hang out and chat with Fred and get some work done. Im diggin it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

The wife is considering trading in the TBSS. The ONLY vehicle she'll consider is a 2012/2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee....... I'm so proud! :D

So, this afternoon we went to do some test driving:

2013 Overland Summit in Mineral Gray. 5.7L 360hp and "Quadra-Lift" suspension (provides 3 settings of ride height, the tallest setting -shown in this photo - is 2.6" over normal ride height)

image-1.jpg

We loved everything about it except for the "Saddle" leather interior and the Quadra Lift suspension which are the main features of the Summit package. We're thinking we'd stick to an Overland without the Quadra Lift stuff and do the black/dark gray interior.

Then we talked the sales guy into letting us take a 2012 SRT8 in Mineral Gray for a spin........ The 470hp, Brembo brakes, paddle shifters and stupid-bolstered and comfy seats do put a big S.E.G. on yer face lemme tell ya........ Definitely an incredible SUV..... :D

20121.jpg

Loved EVERYTHING about the SRT8...... except the friggin' price. $62K PLUS a "Denver Market Adjustment" that adds over $12K...... That's $74K......

Sales guy told us the Manager would drop the market adjustment....... gee thanks...... :looney:
