All I know is those Jack fish have nasty sharp spines on their dorsal and pectoral fins so I wasn't in the mood to fawk around with 'em.

WTF...........

I lost another friend to suicide yesterday. Fawkin hell. I knew she was having a hard time at work with an oppressive manager....... had no idea it was that bad for her.

God damn it.

Sorry to hear that Troy, but with the way the world is failing, more and more people are getting behind, things are getting rougher and it's a lot of stress. These are times where we should help each other more than ever.

Thanks for the support guys...... Surreal is all that comes to mind right now. I know she was working with a Dr. trying to work through depression issues and really seemed to embrace work and coworkers as her anchor ....... still waiting to hear if she left a note that could shed light on why.

I suspect her manager hammered on her again..... Straw that broke the camels back......

The whole suicide thing is terrible. In the last 4 yrs I've had 2 fellow soldiers and coworkers, another soldier, and one of my best friends from highschool kill themselves. Its hard on everybody that was in any way a part of their lives and its a shame that the people who did it feel itwas their only course of action.

I wish I were kidding here, but I just got done arranging for an intervention for yet another employee...... strange messages left for me on my desk phone......got his girlfriend and another of his friends to go over to his place about an hour ago. Said he was teetering on the edge when they got there. Just got off the phone with him and I think he'll be ok now...... people staying with him tonight.

If you're the praying type....... we could use some over this way....... 4 suicides this year.... folks are stunned.

Sorry to hear that about your friend Troy, suicides suck.Friday marked an unpleasant date for me.It was the 17th anniversary of my best friend's suicide-we'd been best friends since we were toddlers. He was going through a bad divorce and some other really crappy stuff and just couldn't handle it anymore.

Don't let your guard down regarding this.I thought the same thing as well and it didn't turn out good.I spent about 7 hours trying to talk my buddy up and get him in better spirits and I thought he was better by the way he was talking and acting, unfortunately all was not well and 3 days later he was gone.

I hear ya Jeff. He's not alone tonight that's the good thing. I gave his girlfriend all the employee assistance benefit information as well so she could call if things get sketchy again. And she's got my number as well.
