Must be something in the air....... I cleaned up my garage too. My tool cabinet actually has tools IN it...... The infamous black tool bag is empty an the tool cart doesn't look like the bed of the Sandford & Son's truck....... :laugh:

Intake and Exhaust removed.
Exhaust manifold cracked, cracked, and cracked some more. Replacement APN to be ordered in the AM....gotta luv da warranty.

Leaky freeze plug is out, replacement is the the freezer.

Old water pump is off, just cuz of all the crud in the coolant. Replacement going on today along with a new gasket under the water neck.

Might start a new rear bumper too.

Well I just got a "forced" 2-3 week vacation........

Shingles. Apparently I've got it. Thought the raised, itchy 2" welt on my ribcage was possibly a spider bite or similar to poison oak..... nope. It's my childhood chicken pox flaring up like it apparently can. Gonna take 2-3 weeks on meds to clear it up.

So, consider this fair notice....... if you haven't had the chicken pox yet...... don't come 'round me. It's as viral as chicken pox, but carriers can't get it from me.

Yay. I guess I'll be getting alot done around the house and with the jeeps...... 'cause I don't feel sick at all. :thumbup:

2-3 weeks? wtf. got them in 08, just itched like a mofo, but was working again in two days.

edit: btw, if you scratch, use something soft. itch goes away but hurts like hell. also, can cause nerve damage. HAVE FUN!

Work keeps me away for that long....... can't have me starting an outbreak in an already over-populated jail...... that's the paranoia the bosses expressed anyway. Dr. says 2 weeks before he'd consider me non-contageous.

Oh well, at least I don't have to burn vacation time. :thumbup:

maybe you should take this opportunity to save the dept some money -- they put you back on the street in 2 days, you're only endangering infecting your partner, and the cretin inmates are safe -- everyone wins!!

so im getting another xj. its an 89 4.0 auto 4x4. missing the rear axle and steering column. but its free what can ya do ha:dunno: but i was wanting to convert to 2wd, how much would yall think the trans, xcase, and front axle would be worth (200xxx miles)
