And if any of you wieners want to sell your roof rack so Yella will stop calling you names, I'm in the market.
Fine, ignore my advice. I was serious btw. It's camping, use a lantern or two for light, not your jeep.
Roof lights cause glare off the hood when driving, which blinds you as many have mentioned. THey get torn off when offroading as many have stated (and these will tear off your gutter rail too. They will create additional wind drag and cause you to get lower MPG. You will also need to leave your jeep running if you're planning on using that much light.
I know "Gosh they sure look cool though. Why you wanna hate?" Because I camp, and I've had lights all over my junk before. If it's for camping, seriously, just get a lantern. If it's for "cool factor" then just admit it.
There are expensive lessons to learn in life, the guys around here have learned many of them for you.
My Jeep is more for function then looks, So a lantern it is! Or may end up getting some LED something so that I don't have to worry about battery power. But that would be additional to the bumper or something.
I had one of those little Cop lights on my old Jeep, thinking about maybe getting one of those again, Dang that thing was helpful!
How many ft. Lbs. Is that impact rated at? Very curious cause if its decent (550ish) range i might go pick one up.
