Me, I'm trying to become as independent as I can as quickly as possible so I can simply withdraw from the economy when it crashes. I don't think the housing market will hit bottom till a year or two from now.

ya i never used to think about stuff like that and always thought people were just having a rough time...

govt. and big corps MAKE people have ahrd times so they can survive.
our education system is about to blow up.
our armed forces are constantly being stretched further and further with "wussified" training
our money isnt worth a damn
our economy is a joke
and the world is sitting back and laughing. while it took longer than expected, the "new lands" are gonna implode with their new ideas of govt and society...

oil (and gas) prices are up because the dollar IS tanking -- its not that oil is more per barrel so much as it takes more dollars worth less each to buy it. The mid east unrest is completely a result of people who were already on the verge of starving seeing the price of food rise 28% in 3 months... funny how inflating the worlds monetary supply actually causes, well, inflation. hold onto your hats, folks...

we didn't - not to defend the buffoons on both sides of the isle in congress. This particular evil is the product of the federal reserve, which despite most Americans belief, is NOT an agency of the federal government, but rather a super bank developed by the Rockerfellers and their ilk in the early 20th century to protect THEIR interests, and line THEIR pockets, while simultaneously growing the government through debt and theft. It's not coincidence that the only "growth" resulting from the feds actions are (1) government jobs, and (2) bankers wallets -- Goldman Sachs had 8 digit profits in 2010, while millions of Americans lost their jobs... there's stimulus, alright, but it isn't the American public's economy that's being stimulated.

Why do I love America?
Because when I get a late night craving I can drive my gas guzzling, 360 V8 powered, "mid-size" SUV down to Good Times and get me a chocolate and BACON spoon bender. Thats right, BACON with chocolate icecream combined with gas guzzzling V8 power. Thats why I love living in America.
