Re: The Colorado BS thread

people in denver cant drive if the ground is wet.....

ask me how i know.....

springs to fo-co = 1hr45min
fo-co to springs = 3hours35min

People here can't drive either. We had about half an inch on the ground on the way in to work this morning and a damn Kia was going like 10 under the speed limit in town. I was going 50 no problem in 2wd on the highway!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

LOL - Ralph Nader says my new ride is a "pinto for soccer moms" and should be recalled since the gas tank is prone to rupture and explosion in rear end collisions:

Nader Tripe

I think I'll do this instead, and save Fiat/Chrysler the effort.:dunce:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Got a call from my sister about an hour ago... Calling and saying her car wouldn't accelerate then she heard a loud bang. then smoke.... Hmmm. sounds like a seized motor cause it doesn't want to turn over. Hate having to work on that damn thing... hope my dad says lets get rid of it... :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

that sounds like it may have liberated a piston or two, or perhaps some of the head gasket.

Can only hope, right?

Last time I heard a loud bang and got a lot of smoke, it was 2" of the head gasket blowing out the back of the motor on my M54A2.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Im thinkin a couple pistons... The spot that it was parked had a small puddle of oil under the car. Lack of oil will do that to a car i guess... :D I knew i forgot to do some maintenance... :shhh:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

whew... for a second there I thought it was going to be a tire blow out, and guilt was going to consume me!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

WTF?!
a drive-by shooting ON post???
what the hell is going on these days?!

I'm surprised it took this long for it to happen......... with the way they recruit gang members into the Army these days. All we're doing is training gangs on urban tactical warfare......

http://usmilitary.about.com/od/justicelawlegislation/a/gangs.htm

"The FBI believes that gang members may enlist in the military to escape their current environment or gang lifestyle. Some gang members may also enlist to receive weapons, combat, and convoy support training; to obtain access to weapons and explosives; or as an alternative to incarceration. Upon discharge, they may employ their military training against law enforcement officials and rival gang members. Such military training could ultimately result in more organized, sophisticated, and deadly gangs, as well as an increase in deadly assaults on law enforcement officers."

The latest trend with gangs is to specifically recruit members into the gang who will not receive the usual initiation tatoos. Many of these members are clean-skinned when they enlist, making it even more difficult to identify them and keep them from joining the military.

I'm not 100% on this, but I believe these two photos are of British/U.K. soldiers. From what I gather, the "Shef" is representative of the Sheffield area in the U.K. that's plagued with gang activity. The "BK" is indicative of "Blood Killers". I think the other circle with "Web's Keli Smok" is giving "props" to a female rap singer Kelis who is big in the U.K.

Yup. Its a bit further from Montrose, but it will be a lot cooler and surprisingly enough we get the campground cheaper, especially for folks with kids.
