Anyone know the reasoning behind lifting up an xj eight inches, throwing on 37's, linking the rear while leaving the leaf springs on instead of coils, and removing the shocks? That damn thing looked like a bumpy ride!

Sorry I was driving and couldn't snap a pic. It was a white late model two door set up like that. it looked pretty ghetto fabbed!

fo-co to springs = 3hours35min

averaged 15mph from north of thorton to castle rock...
and it WASNT slick, at all, whatsoever. ridiculous

but i do have 4 almost new 35" kevlars in the back of the jeep right now

What time did you roll through? Cause rush hour, which goes until 6:30 7ish just plain sucks, does not matter if it's wet or not. Even on a normal dry day, I can see it taking that long to get from Fort Collins to south Denver.
