Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Any repair in a fookin blizzard is not fun. Most especially when you are miles from home, alone...almost. ;)

Re-installing ones axle in a fookin' blizzard is not fun.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I've had the day off from work and with all intentions of getting the Jeep back out of the garage. It hasn't happened yet, instead I've been playing XBox. Stupid snow and cold weather.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

awesome. perfect link frank

and ya. one or two might be from cali. but there are probabaly 20 cars involved, so the majority will go to CO drivers lol

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Wow yeah after watching that it had nothing to do with driver ability. That was pure ice unless you had 4 wheel drive and were light like that tj you were not going to make it.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

yup...

but its still entertaining....

sorry if anyone is irritated that i dont have any sympathy for moronic decisions

Re: The Colorado BS thread

i love how all the people are pissed that someone else crashes into their car, cuz THEY made such a great decision to be stuck and already crashed

best line tho: 7:02 "im like an oreo cookie" lol

Re: The Colorado BS thread

guy in white ford.... big douche!!! why would you stop when you were making it just fine.... i drove in this for two and a half hours today getting from academy to black forest. so many cars were stuck on the slightest of inclines.
i however was in my jeep and i had to drive over a couple curbs and do some illegal maneuvers. disclaimer. there was a cop at almost every intersection that watched me do this... they were cool with it. they also had a couple hills blocked off that they let me pass through since i was in my jeep... but even 4 wheel, i got sideways a couple times. but no wrecking for me!! however i did feel kinda bad just passing everyone and not stopping to help. but it was so icy i wouldn't have been any help. over all it was a s***y hectic drive and i wanted to run everyone over!:soapbox:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I saw two Fords in that vid. One was chillin in the middle of the road, didn't look stuck. The other almost made it up and would have if the driver wasn't a dumbchit.
:D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

epic! if i do say so my self
i did 250 miles in that shit today.
just got back from my last call in calhan....
i had my share of driving sidways today but it was just that driving......not sliding uncontrollably into other cars....ima go knock on wood now before i flip my service truck tomorrow :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

it looks like a lot of that could be avoided with decent winter tires and a few thousand #12 studs.

Speaking of which, bought a set of firestone winterforce tires for the MJ... and they're getting studs. Decided if I am going to plow my street with it, it should have good tires. Its getting a new rearend, 4wd, and an ax15 swap soon too, and possibly a locker or two.

Frank, right with you on the axle stuff... I made the decision to start changing my diff fluid in a parking lot Sunday, right after the snow started...

... and right before the gale force wind started  ever try keeping snow out of rtv while its blowing 30mph of snow onto everything?
