Mike, did you pay by credit card? If so, dispute the charges since the store didn't provide what you paid for. Just an idea.

No way Mikey, don't take that. Demand to talk to the general manager(someone that can actually make some damn decisions) That's poor business, you paid upfront for a product and you haven't recieved it. You have the right of way to run them over and either
A. get your money back(where does it say you can't get your money back if they XXXX up?)
B. give you a discount for what you've put up with/ give you your shit.

lol we all know i tend to let my mouth run wild and it doesnt ever really pan out well for me. so im trying a more calm approach.

i did email Arbor snowboards yesterday tho. they advertise Hoyal as a preffered distributor. i emailed explaining the situation with the store, and that being blown off was leaving me with a shorter and shorter fuse, and if I was them, i would not want that person representing my company. i did say the staff was more than knowledgable about the product, and that the board was purchased cuz i was repeatedly told it was the best. but that if i was going to get the walk around and this shitty of customer service, i had no intentions of being a customer, and would be sure to inform everyone i know of the horrible service and the overwhelming PITA this was, making them take their money elsewhere....

i have yet to get a response, and if i dont hear anything by monday morning, ill be in Hoyal raising hell

hahahahaha. well what was irritating about it as well is that when i ordered it, i told the guy "i would like to spend money local, but i can get it at this cost and this much for shipping guraunteed in 7 business days, if its gonna take longer than that from here, ill just order online ya know?"

to which he replied "ill call tomorrow and check on availability status, if there is gonna be a delay, ill call you and see what you want to do, if ya dont hear from then there isnt any delays and it will be shipped out and here within the next week"


and now i am told they dont know where it is, that it did ship the following day, and i cant get money back. IF it did in fact ship the following day, it should be here, considering the company is based in cali.

I think you're handling this great, Mike. You're giving them an opportunity to step up, and getting progressive in your approach -- kick their ass seabass.

I'm having a difficult time picturing the beautiful viking in a suit.... it doesn't "suit" him...

Here's the meat and potatos MiguelA.
You paid for a product, you made the agreement with the understanding that you would recieve what you paid for in a few days. You let them know up front you couldn't take a delay, and that they would call you if you were to expect one. Now 3 weeks later they have Passed thier time quote by 3x. Along with them not being able to even tell how much longer of a wait to expect.

This is a problem between them and their distributor and it's causing one now with you. You made an agreement and they haven't maintained their end of
the deal so why should they have your money. They broke their promise, you have the right to your money back. It's not your fualt they can't give you what you want, so tell them you're going to do it with
someone else. Simple

I'm sure I looked rediculous driving the xj dressed up to go to meetings downtown ina rattlecanned doorless xj on 35's though. Lol

I ain't talking bout the car -- YOU are now the beautiful viking, thanks to your acquisition of it... I like to raz suits, since everyone assumes that as a lawyer I am one -- I haven't worn a suit in a couple years, and generally tool around the office in shorts and sandals when weather allows ;)

well mister guapo, seems the shop is now full of liars lol.
i called again today, and was told that they are not responsible for the shipping, and since its a special order, they only made $50 so its not the top of their priority, and was promptly disconnected after being told someone else would call me.

i get a call back 15 minutes later. appears my board hasnt even left cali yet, so how the hell did it supposedly ship the day after i ordered it?
then was told someone would call me tomorrow, then again promptly disconnected....

I don't have patience for situations Like that. Furthermore I don't let ppl dick me for my money, who cares how much they make off of it. Talk to the gm, end it and get your refund. No big deal, you just give
your money to whoever can actually give you what you ask for.
Btw if you'd like Id be more than happy to call tommorow on my lunch to get you your money back. I'd make that shit happen real easy.

So, first day at the shop was AWESOME.
I'm working 12+ hour days, but it doesn't even feel like work. Lunch (and dinner if we're there for it) are paid for, today was pizza and then Arby's.
I've only been there a day but I've already had a revelation... plasma is amazing stuff. How the hell did I work on metal without a plasma cutter?!

The 67 Mustang I've been tasked with finishing. Engine should be here in the next few days... supercharged, 1000+rwhp. Dunno who it is, but somebody's got some extra money lying around. The amount we're getting paid for labor on this is ridiculous, and that's just the labor. The Willwood brakes/knuckles are $8k alone. Plus the airbag suspension, and custom EVERYTHING.

Kenyon Martin (Denver Nuggets #4) wanted a wide body kit and fancy ass wheels on his new toy. $1700 a wheel :scared: Its getting lowered 2" so it'll look better than how it sits now.
