got a hook up today, guy gave me a sub, amp, and wiring for detailing his car on downtime at the shop....got good tunes now!!! :thumbup:
out of curiosity, what would you guys pay to have someone come to you to wash and buff your car/suv/truck.

just to give an idea, heres a camaro that was super faded i was working on today........(pics are pre wipedown, so still some junk on there)
Left-untouched Right-buffed out
untouched hood
after
jeep shined up
and a couple cars at work
just trying to decide if i could potentially make a lil side cash here and there doing this or not.....

ya know the days everything goes wrong, you hit every red light, you run out of gas....twice, you find out you spent money on useless axles, work keeps screwing you, and everyone pisses you off and you piss everyone around you off????
i had one of those to day. whatever you do, when ya go to wally world, dont buy a day like today, its not worth it

I gave up at half-time.
I had this thing growing on my back, went to my regular doc. He sent me to a dermatologist. I call that doc's office to find out how much time off I should request: The girl on the phone says the doc would have to look at it and maybe get a bioooopsy before deciding what to do next. I put in for the morning off, figured I better bank those PTO hours for the following appointment.
Yeah, right: The doc looks at it for two seconds and says it's gotta go! I never guessed he'd agree with me that quick. I call work and tell them I may be late, or not at all, but I would call regardless. About 10 minutes before I was supposed to start work, I walked into the office and asked for my check. After the local anesthesia wore off, I realized I made the right choice

Mikey what product do you use for buffing. Pads, buffer, solution?
I ran a PC harbor frieght knock off for a couple years untill I went out on me/ boughta higher end harbor frieght model(works great). But iv'e had some great results with meguiars swirl mark remover/ polish after. I have a mixed assortment of compounds that Iv'e played around with..but I swear by lakecounty pads
I have a steamer/ shop vac for interiors/ lexol leather conditioners...Iv'e thought about doing it on the side, but im sure I would burn someones paint one day/ lol i'll stick to taking that risk with my own cars(burned an edge on the ta)

U should go for it though for real, ur a good talker man. Im sure it'd be an awsome hustle for ya, i'd for sure try get ppl ur way. For real, DO IT/ then make other ppl do it for u and get paid!!!

Finally got a date for my kidney stone surgery,was a bunch of reasons the doc's were delaying it , Hell its looking like i will get healthy again ,but it will be oct 18.
