It involves a couple bathtub stoppers and the cork out of a wine bottle.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

REALLY RETARED QUESTION ALERT!

Does the speedo gear also run the trip mileage?

no speedo gear = no odometer = no trip milage :confused1

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Great answer but yes it does run the trip counter.

On the other hand my heep passed emissions on first try. Just need to get a new gas cap.

???

I won't ask.........

Speaking of speedo gear, I took my OE gear out and it was a 34 tooth gear. Did the math and sure as shite, I needed a 37 tooth gear for my 4.56's and 33's. The guy at parts mike was correct.

Also a big thumbs up to Parts Mike, I ordered it last Wednesday and received it last Saturday, plugged it in, ...........Perfecto!

It matches the local speed signs and my GPS as I drive!

I was excited when I calculated my MPG after filling up last, because it went from 12 MPG up to 17, but then I realized the speedo was all messed up due to the 4.56's

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Jon -- I hadn't seen that, very cool. I guess we understand now what "planes" you're working on before COfest!
