Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

On another note- driver's door is on. Wow, how much fun to get everything lined back up. It still has an RCH more gap at the rear than the front, but whatever. On that note maybe next meet and greet with a body guy present someone can get my tailgate lined up properly. Two of five doors are junkyard parts, at least one works right. :)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I've only replaced one of those '97+ rear hatches and surprisingly, was a huge PITA to get to line up...... no fun at all.

No Idea what that is...
It's a bearing puller used to remove the carrier and pinion bearings without destroying them. It makes installing gears a simpler process.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So I'm trying to figure out my summer vacation next summer and Colorado is one of the options. I have seen pictures of the Ouray area and all I can say is WOW. First how early do I need reservations around late August. Second what is the best way to tow a 38' 17,000 pound trailer from southern California.

Come up the 15 to 70 just google ouray and look for campgrounds

I already have that covered. I was wondering which way is a little more RV freindly grade wise. Here is my rig that I haul my Jeep in.

15 to the 70 is one way I am considering. How is the route out of Flagstaff and through four corners? I hear that this is a more scenic way. Is that a better option for my return trip grade wise.
