Unreal.....

So the wife and I are out at lunch and I see a family get seated near us. Mom and Dad with 2 boys about 6 & 9 years old. Both boys are wearing earphones, walking with laptops playing a movie. Mom is carrying more toys and electronic games. The boys sit and continue watching their movies and when theit food arrives..... The server has to move and adjust the laptops to put the plates in front of the boys. The younger boy protests loudly when the server blocks his laptop as she put the plates down for the others. The entire time they never are made to put away the laptops or remove their headphones. Hardly ate a thing either.

WTF is the world coming to?

Been there, done that. I was both. I finally was able to extract the files. There used to be a place in Lewisville that could help.

There is a good place in the DTC that does recovery. Problem is that they start at $750 and go from there... I've got the drive in the freezer now wrapped in saran wrap and will try again tonight.

On a different note. Did driving the SRT8 home make things ANY better?

There is a good place in the DTC that does recovery. Problem is that they start at $750 and go from there... I've got the drive in the freezer now wrapped in saran wrap and will try again tonight.

The first thing they do is try to figure out if the problem is in the pcb or the rest of the drive. They keep a large supply of spared drives to swap pcb's from.

Maybe you could scrounge a drive from ebay or craigslist and give it a try. Most likely the drive is an older unit and will be dirt cheap.

I'm sure it did, until they had to fill the 16gal tank full of 91 octane fuel after only 140 miles of in town driving.

Always. Well..... Except for the harsh ride from the stupid run flat tires Jeep puts on 'em. Ya pay that much for a car and the tires are the uber-suck. That changes Tuesday ..... Yokohama Parada Spec X's getting put on and the Pirelli's go on consignment. :thumbup:

It ain't THAT bad.... 24.6 gal and about 377 miles on a tank when she drives it.....

Weird being at 100-300 ft of altitude and struggling.for air. san fran/bay area has absolute shitty air quality. holy lord.....


but. finally....after several years......its mine!!!!!

don't worry the regular fries are my brothers. my animal style were coming with my shake

I've been to drifters and the like, but nothing beats a double double with animal style fries and a shake for under $8.

I had numerous people tell me how awesome In & Out was....and once I finally tried it, I was very disappointed. Even tried it a few times and I still don't see what the hype is all about. I'd take Five Guys or Smashburger any day of the week over In & Out!

Id still take a jalama burger or tk burger over anything. but that's a bit further south. (jalama beach/Newport beach respectively)
smash burger is alright - on par with chic fila or whatever. but 5 guys is just another burger joint.
i think a lot has to do where you are from. i love in n out and am not real impresses by the local Colorado stuff

This is true. Most of the guys that recommended In & Out were from Cali so that makes sense. I do have to say, the In & Out in Cali seemed "better" than the one in Vegas I went to. I didn't even finish my burger there...it was nasty! I could have greased my Jeep with that sum b!tch! :shocked:uke:

Lol which one.did you go to? one.right by the strip on tropicana? That one is always.all bad. the one off the 95 on south east side of.town was the best followed by up north off lake mead and the 95. the one today was great....and im.from Vegas

the b j brewhouse out here definitely brought the suck tho.

The one on 95 lake mead north was right by my place. haven't been out there in a few years but that was the good one. The one off trop is there just for tourists. lol
