Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What a week. Went back to Saint Louis to do more work on my father in-laws place. I pick up the rental car and head straight to his house and find the back door wide open when I get there and can see things broken as I peer inside the kitchen. Place got broken into and they were there for a while. Took a sh!t in the toilet and left it. Went through everything and ransacked the place. Took anything of value that was left. Then I talk to my sister in-law who tells me that she was pretty sure that someone had been in there about 2-3 weeks ago because she stopped by and things had been moved around and there was some food on a table. She never called the police about it. I spent the week filling up a 3 ton dumpster.

I left my oldest pup here at the house and had a friend stop by several times to check on her but took the younger one to a kennel. The night before I take him there I find out that it got sold to new owners. I am very particular about who handles my dogs but did not have any other options at that point. Had the same friend pick him up yesterday afternoon and put him in his kennel here at the house so he would be here when I got home. I came home and let him out and he's got a paper collar around his neck. The kind that a hospital bracelet would be made of. It's all stuck together. I thought it was a ****in rubber band. I do not believe it was a tear away one as I had to cut it off. I never leave a collar on my dogs if they are unsupervised. Then I see a puncture wound on his side (ribcage area) about the diameter of a pencil that's still bleeding. Today should be fun.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

wow, sucky week... hope it looks up and the pooch is OK. I also hope you resist the urge to put a few puncture wounds in the new Kennel owners, though they certainly deserve a chewing out. WTF...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I just talked with someone at the kennel. He wasn't wounded when he left them so it must have happened on the 2 mile drive back to the house.
