Re: The Colorado BS thread

buzzard.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

LOL, no, but it does corroborate both versions, so at least there is a crumb of truth hiding in this wiki definition somewhere...

Cage is good. Means you can wheel harder and not worry so much about the flop.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

still gotta wait til next season, which sucks. but stoked to have it in now

Now's the best time to do it... now you'll be ready for when next season gets here.

Been playing with suspension calculators and PBB's search feature for the past few hours.
Holy crap my brain hurts.

Yeah there is a whole lot of geometry when setting up a suspension to get things right.

Yeah lol I noticed. Until I get the axles and springs under there I won't know my exact wheelbase, COG, etc., but with a tape measure and some guesswork I've got a general idea of where things will sit... Going off those measurements I think I've got my numbers pretty well set for the rear with 93% AS.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Triangulated uppers and parallel lowers, dual triangulated, parallel uppers and lowers with a pan hard bar?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

My rear is setup as a dual triangulated 4 link. The guys who set it up did there homework as there is no noticeable anti squat issues. I can't remember the other term used to describe 4 link characteristics, but all in all for a custom job it works well.
