ok so i was driving and went to turn arond and my jeep wouldnt go into any gear other than 4th,at a stop, reverse was grinding and it just wouldnt go.. iafter a while i turned it off and realized to put it in gear when not running it worked... some help?

btw its a 92 and has 452,000 km on it.. original clutch...

Probably time to change the clutch. You can try bleeding the clutch cylinder. Check the linkage, etc.
When it is in gear, clutch depressed and you start it, what happens?

Clutch is not releasing all the way. Check fluid level in clutch master cylinder. Might be able to add some fluid to get it to work for a little while, but it's either leaking at the slave or master.

280,000 miles on the original clutch?

Replace the clutch, MC and Slave.

well nothing is leakin on the firewall and there is not puddles under it.. and yea i guess so? if 452,000 km converts to 280,000 miles haha
