Closing down Moonrocks

Not sure if this link will work. But if you could take a second to sign the petition to keep Moonrocks open it might help in some small way. This is one of my favorite places I've ever been I really don't want to lose it

This came up at our Contra Costa Jeepers meeting last Tuesday. The closure does not include moonrocks itself. But pretty much everything around it as a buffer to limit engine noise and gunfire noise. Our vp was up there a week ago Sunday and was detained by tribal police outside of tribal land. They thought he drove all the way from the Bay Area to dump garbage in hungry valley. Sheriff finally showed up and let him go.

that's crazy man. All the area around moonrocks is still an awesome part of the experience. and when 5-10,000 people show up for memorial weekend they need to spread out a bit. is there a map anywhere showing where the lines are?

We were there this weekend. It was alittle too crazy with 3 med flights in one day but the wheeling and razor trips were solid. I'm hoping that the surrounding areas stay open too because we were ripping all over the trails with the 900zr.
