closed/open loop coolant temp?

I don't see why setting open loop off the tps would force a kickdown. IIRC they use a dual row tps with one side to pcm and the other to tcm.

Want to be careful to not hyjack CSaddict's thread, but I have a hobbs switch that activates the 7th injector once it detects pressure. Plus the alky comes on at the same time being activated by the 3 bar MAP. But I need it a little sooner. Can you recommend a reasonably priced piggy back?
