Clifford intake for the 4.0- (theres one for sale too)

even better, it looks like this would flow more cfm,
would this be a good one to run with a boosted setup?

you can not put a TB on that manifold, theres no place for injectors

Teal, on the manifold I can 'see', it has injector bosses cast into it. It's just a matter of drilling them for injectors.

yes, it could be drilled, but theres no place to bolt the rail, the rail will hit the TB, and a 2000+ style intake will flow better than that

Yeah, I see what you mean. . . and I think you're right about a 2000+ manifold. Cheaper too!
 
Even if the Clifford manifold WAS suitable to use with EFI and the 4.0 TB, the runners are shorter than those of the stock manifold so it's only really suitable for high rpm use.

i thought longer runners provided more low end torque, and less top end

Exactly. Since the Clifford manifold has shorter runners, it provides more top end and less low rev torque than the stock manifold. Didn't I just say that in my last post?

oh sorry, i misread it, i thought you said its not sutible for high rev use
