I just got done cleaning up the jeep and cutting out my bumper tube (going to redesign it a bit) and noticed my driver side coil is out of its seat, and all four LCA bushings are toast (POS RE lowers!!! ).

I think it is stupid to drop $40 on bushings if they get destroyed from one wheeling outing...

What would you guys recommend? I don't really want to spend a lot of money..

were the bushings destroyed on the same side as the coil that was knocked out of its seat? Or are they bad on both LCAs? If it is just the one side maybe there is some issue there to look into... you running poly or rubber bushings? If poly bushings were they lubed or maybe lube came off or they got too tight.. dont know if any of these questions help but maybe if you are like me one of them might stir up some ideas to look at :). If not I am sure someone can hit it on the nose for you :).

they are whatever bushings came with the RE super ride in dec 08, they where showing signs of wear from street use about 8k miles. But this finished them off, they are still ok to use but are splitting badly so i need to come up with a long term solution.

If I can get ore life out of them I will just replace the bushings.

It happens on both sides.

RE found out that their bushing supplier 'modified' the recipe and were not lasting. They will warranty your bushings if you can prove (receipt) that you bought them within the right time period. They are keeping a hard time keeping them in stock, so you may have to wait a while for them...but you will get them.
