RCman NAXJA Forum User Location USA Mar 7, 2008 #3 Easiest way is to disconnect the battery for 10 or so minutes. Or get a reader that clears codes as well. Keep in mind this resets everything, so if you have to pass inspection (like in MA) you'll have to have a few miles on it before they'll except it.

D derrickdrew17 NAXJA Forum User Location Duncanville Mar 7, 2008 #4 my CEL went on when #5 injector got too hot on my 98 and once i let it cool down and drive it awhile it went out.. I think if you correct the problem the compter will correct it self and the light will go out. It did it for me 2 times so far.
