Clear Creek

I was just wondering what it is like out at Clear Creek in Coalinga. I am interested in a day trip out there if it is worth it. I really just want to know if there is anything out there worth wheeling or if I should just wait until the snow melts. I'm jons'n over here.

Hey, I saw a black lifted 97+ xj by river park a few days ago at 12:30ish. Was this you?

Either way we should get together sometime and go wheelin, I would love meet some local xjer's.

maybe, i live about a mile from river park. shovel and hi-lift jack on top then it was. anytime. but im new to the valley, and I am looking for places to wheel and i am tired of the snow. so let me know. may head to the grapvine soon.

hey chuckd what about clear creek management area? ever been out there before? Ive been planning on bald mountain for a while thanks.

I haven't heard about it. I'm lucky to just go to Bald.

Clear Creek is alright. That is where the molina ghost run is held. Mostly fairly easy, with a lot of motercycle trails. there are quite a few old mines in the area including an old mine town that is mostly desserted. If you go to BLM web site you can more get information there. One more thing there is naturally occuring asbestos in the area.
