Here is what I have, brand new, still in the UPS boxes it was shipped to me..

Clayton Jeep Cherokee 1984-2001 6.5" Long Arm Suspension Lift w/Coil Conversion PD-XJ65CC (link immediately below)

http://www.claytonoffroad.com/

With tax and shipping I got this for almost $3700.00

I am selling/looking for a trade because I had started aquiring parts for a 98 XJ 4x4 I had that was bone stock, and four months into the process I came across the beast I have now and couldn't resist buying it because of what a great deal I got.

If I can't find what I'm looking for in trade, or in selling price, I'm just going to keep it and put it on my next jeep XJ build project a few years down the line.

Here is what I am looking for..

I really would like to trade rather than sell it.. and need a roof rack and roof top tent. I would prefer something new or gently used. As far as the roof rack goes, I don't care so much about the brand as long as it's very sturdy but doesn't weigh a million pounds, and either attatches to the rain gutters, or the existing ski rack rails. I would like it to be black and with no walls (unless its made to work with a RTT). As far as the RTT goes, I would like something name brand or proven, and in GOOD shape. I don't want to sleep in crap, hah, and maybe medium to large size. I figure both of those items in GOOD shape shouldn't be valued to more than about $2000.00 so IMHO we both would be getting great deals. Getting both of these items are very important to me, but if you have something else to trade you think I would want, or a creative idea, I'm always open to listen!

If you just want to outright buy it, I'm asking for $2000.00 FIRM. Plus shipping to you (which is 300-400 for anywhere in the US, UNLESS you want to drive and come pick it up in which case I'll help you load it

) Please keep in mind this is a BRAND NEW clayton kit that hasn't even been pulled out of the boxes and EVEN if you have to pay to have it shipped to you, you are still getting more than a $1200.00 discount from what it would cost from a dealer.

I am very serious and very motivated and want to work with the same time of people interested in doing business, reply here or send me a PM and lets see if we can work something out. Oh and .. First come, first serve! :D

You bastard...where were you with this about 3 weeks ago...I woulda bought it in a heartbeat and not gotten the kit I did. I hate you...

Haha, how do you think I feel? The kit I have right now on mine isn't half as good as the clayton one, but it would cost WAY more to me than it's worth to do the swap, switch the tires, yada yada yada.. So either I sell/trade it.. or keep for like 5-7 years when I plan on doing my next build.. aiie.. :rattle:

Good luck to ya on this, Clayton was in my top 3. It was either the Clayton hard arms, T&T Ylink, or the DPG kit that I got. I ended going this route cus it cost the least. But after getting it all put together it came out to quite a bit. I'm still kinda wishin I had been patient and gone with long arms.

Thanks, Yeah I actually researched which lift was going to be right for me and it took 6 months of looking before I settled. True claytons are pricey.. but in my logic I wanted to do it right the first time. :viking:

Hey just letting everybody know I still have this kit, I haven't been online for awhile due to some FEX's for training. I'm also updating this to saying the kit is now for sale only.. I'll be getting discharged in a couple of months and am moving back to my home state in TX. Please email me at [email protected] if you wanna buy the kit, thanks guys.
