CJ warn hubs?

i was wondering if anybody has ever pulled the hubs off an older dana 30 from a cj and put them on a newer dana 30. I dont want to spend the coin on the warn kit for my xj 30 because its so expensive, but i would like to have the ability to unlock my hubs. Anybody tried it?
