Well, it looks like the CJ's not gonna quite make it to completion before Christmas, so here the skinny on where we are. Mind you if it weren't for the wonderful help of Bob Lester, Lightning and Mike B (non-club member) I would be WAY behind on this, and likely would never get it done.
Status:
Frame: Stripped, cleaned, repainted
Engine: Cleaned, repainted
Tranny: Cleaned, repainted, new clutch in
T-Case: Cleaned, linkage rebuilt, repainted
Tub: Fiberglass patched, primed, wet sanded and ready for paint
Once we get a trailer, the body's going to the paint shop and the frame will get a final cleaning before brakelines, and wiring begins. Once the body's back the dash'll go in, the wiring fun will begin and maybe by February it'll be done.
Here's a shot of the engine, which is our most recent accomplishment, cleaned, painted and back in the frame:
