I have a 8.25 I'm taking out of my '99, will be out this weekend. It has 3.55 gears and is Lincoln locked.... Well actually miller locked haha. Brakes are good, no E brake cables. It also has the shock relocation brackets for more clearance. $250 909-556-9995

Oh forgot to mention the spiders are not welded to the carrier or to each other so that they can be removed. It's great cause it gives it a little play on the street. Wheels will turn about 1/2 rotation before they lock up. I have done 5 of my buddies Cherokees this way and have not had a problem, $250 obo

I'm not sure i understand how it would be welded if not the spiders-to-carrier or spiders-to-spiders.... i am also moderately new to welding diffs so don't think i am in here to doubt you.... just looking for some new knowledge if you wouldn't mind droppin some on me!

Hairy dangler- the way I did it is I filled in voids between teeth on the actual smaller spiders so that when it goes to turn it binds up, u have to pay close attention tho so u do it evenly on both gears so the load isn't on just one of them, some say this is stronger than welding them to the carrier..... I'm not really sure how it can be but I chose this way for two reasons, so that it didn't destroy the carrier and I could remove the spiders if I needed to and I liked the way of the little extra play on the street. Haven't had any problems with it on 35's.
