Chrysler 8.25 Pinion Nut Size

So I did a quick search and did not really find what I was looking for. I need to replace my rear pinion seal on my 2000 XJ with a 8.25. What size socket does it take? I tried to use the 1-1/8 that was used on my D30 last time, but it was to small. Any help would be appreciated.
