My 2000 xj is clicking or chirping in proportion to speed. It stops when I apply the brakes or turn right. I checked that the calipers were tight. Only thing I noticed was a clicking when spinning the back tires that seems to be coming from the differential.
I did do the liberty rear disc conversion about a month or more before this started, and replaced the rear axle bearings.
