Chinaman the 11th...

I'm in depending on weather. The next few days are going to be rough here so I won't be able to get my heep up and running but we can just try out the new BFGs on katy's. It's locked on 31's got a bit of armor and a winch. I've lost my snatch block though.

Edit: Troy, if you make it bring those Ranchos and we'll just do the deal there.

Oh com'on guys i gotta work this sunday. But im living in gunnison and need wheeling buddies! i might be able to move or change shifts. Keeping fingers crossed. should i be worried about not having gears or lockers...idk iv never hit china

I'm not certain where the trailhead is and it would be way out of the way to go to the springs. Anyone got coordinates of the trailhead and I could just meet you there?

Johnson Village. There are gas stations there where you can fill up if you need to. In between the rafting building and the gas stations you'll see CR301 to your left. Take that road just past the red barn and you'll see a gate to your left marked "Prison Property" that runs in a straight line for a short way to another gate and an open area (you can see this open area from the main road). This area is perfect for airing down, disconnecting and getting ready for the trail. Be sure to close both gates.

This is also the trailhead for Carnage Canyon (also known as "BV Carnage" because this "Carnage Canyon" is near Buena Vista and is NOT the same trail as the Carnage Canyon in Boulder County).

Carnage Boulder no longer exists (closed forever)....... So, the only Carnage IS in B.V.

Nope. I've ran it with 33s at street pressure, 3.07 gears, manual tranny, open on both ends, with a D35 in the rear that was just waiting to blow.
You'll be fine if you're a decent driver.

I pick this Dodge up and get the carb in, and I feel good about it, I'd be in. That's a big maybe though.

people like you are the reason the trails like ER are completely rutted out and rocks are stacked over every obsticle.

Never stacked rocks, never dug out an obstacle, and I did better with 33s and 3.07s than a huge CJ8 crawler in front of us at COfest. So no, "people like me" aren't to blame, you can find someone else :conceited

Follow the posts- was reffering to you running chinamans in the old dodge pickup

4x4, should have either 3.55 or 3.92 gearing, shortbed single cab, 33s. Haven't seen exactly what the tires are, but if they're muds or even ATs they'll work.
I don't see a problem with it.

Indeed. Getting a full size truck that's open/open through that first obstacle should be ............ interesting. :looney:
