(and if you were refering to the # of pics i posted, i postr them all first then i go back after a while and delete a bunch to clean it up, i'm paying for "XX" amount of space so i'm gonna use as much as i can )
I want you thank the people who stayed behind to help me fix.
I really don't break on every obstacle. This was suppose to be
about the chicken, but my XJ has lost its will to live. Just one more year, until a build a new BrokenXJ. A big thanks goes to Eric for running to town and getting ball joints and a press. BTW: The ball joints on that side were about 1 year old, the other side is OEM! I'm calling the Mechanic this morning to figure out why it was dripping molten metal on the way to the Chicken place!
PS: I will be carrying set of ball joints, and my press in the future.
Is it possible that it wasn't molten metal, but drops of burning gasoline resulting from the over-rich mix caused by the header leak upsetting and fooling the O2 sensor?
I'm still wondering if it wasn't all the grass and muck that he picked up in the hole. If it was sitting close enough to the exhaust hole it could have been. Wish that had happened on the flats Steve so that we could have helped. The way it was sitting, one person could move to safety, two would have been tripping over each other.
Awesome pics! You caught two shots of me going up the last obsticle before BrokenXJ, well... Broke. once again, I would like to thank Earle, and Eagle for inviting us from CTJEEP.ORG. I hope to make many more runs with this great group of jeepers.

Chicken Run wasn't a formal -NAC event, it was an open ride. Since we are an XJ organization, our "official" events are open only to member XJs and invited guests. Other vehicles can attend if invited, but each member can invite only one other vehicle (including non XJs).
The CTJeep XJs are welcome at future events, but we hope you'll join to help spread the faith. That way, each of you could bring along another non-XJ member of CTJeep. (Although use discretion -- we don't like to make them feel bad when they see how great XJs are on the trail :firedevil )
