ive been waiting since august for my money back on the lift kit that i cancelled (RE super ride)cuz it was on back order. they werent supposed to take the money out my credit card until after the lift was sent, but they still took the money. i email these guys all the time and call them and never get a response. so beware.

have you contacted your credit card company? BBB? I had a similar problem 3 years ago with an online computer parts company. I contacted my CC and told them, then I called the company, talked to whoever was in charge, and threatened to call the BBB. Two days later I was refunded my money. I cant guarentee it will work out the same though. GL!
 
used my visa check card to send money into my pay pal account which sent them the money. i made complaints with paypal but they said it has to be with in a month of the transaction.

I have responded to you, on all emails to an AOL account, I did not take any money from your credit card but paypal did on a direct send to the company. I also explained to you that when the order was cancelled, the refund would have to wait until RE product was stopped in shipment, we had to contact UPS to stop the shipment and return to RE, RE then had to refund the money to us. This has been done, and I have mailed out 2 different cashiers checks to the address on file, I have to wait 10 days each time you do not receive the check and then place a stop on the check, this has happened twice. I have your money but I need you to email me the correct address as I will not send another check until I am sure it will reach you. Please send your correct address via email back channel, and I will promptly issue another cashiers check and send it certified or fedex, so that it may be tracked.
 
the money was sent to the personnel paypal account of Theon C. any way the money wasnt supposed to be taken off the card until the lift was shipped, but you guys told me it was on back order until sept. i ordered in aug. so how would you have to return the kit if it was still on back order? the address that you sent me in that email about the cashiers check is my correct address ill pm it to you again tho.

I don't want to get into who is right and who is wrong in the general scope of things, but you're wrong about one thing: PayPal does not operate like that. When you send a payment with paypal, the second you hit that "send" button, it takes money out of whatever you use with paypal (whether that is credit card, checking account or something else). So by clicking "send" you have initiated progression of transfers of money: from your card to your pay pal, then from your pay pal to the other pay pal account. That is why pay pal is so popular for internet and over the distance transactions: noone can "take your money" out on their won (unlike credit cards).

In regards to mail... well funny thing.... I called to check up on my paperwork I was supposed to get from court in regards to traffic school... and guess what... they claim that they have sent it out on the 25th of November yet it still hasn't reached me..... It doesn't surprise me to greatly though, as long time ago, I have already reached a conclusion that the "neither sleet nor rain nor snow" motto is a thing of the past. That's why personally now, if I have something important to send (that can't be lost).... it's either FeDex, UPS or Airborne.....

PP has the easiest return money to sender in the world!

Cherokee4x4 should get off their as-s and send the money back NOW. Talk about the wrong way to do business, if they can't process the transaction let someone else do it, but give the money back. I can bet they haven't sent it to RE yet on their side of things. Taking money and not sending product in a reasonable amount of time is BS with any company. The only way it would be anywhere understandable is if it was agreed to prior to sending the money that it would take a long time to ship.

I just received a fax from my bank showing the cashiers check #469512 in the amount of $396.85 to this person, was cashed on 12/8/03.
This is why I have to wait until I am sure that the checks have not been cashed.

what is this channel thing that every one keeps saying?? what email address am i supposed to be using the theon one, the sales one, the techincal one i have sent mail to all in the past
